Socioeconomic analysis of bioproducts derived from babassu nut breakers pyrolysis in legal amazonia communities

Lignocellulosic biomass residues can generate interesting materials for the chemical and food industries. Physical activation processes were developed by cold pressing slow pyrolysis, as well physical with zinc chloride (ZnCl2), to produce bio-based products, including bio-oil (30%) biochar (31%), good yields. Charcoal biooil provided results, respectively, regard adsorption capacity (357 m2 g-1 of surface area BET) possibility extracting compounds (phenols 45.81% aldehydes 32.76%). Moreover, key economic performance indicators process analyzed, results indicate that proposed is economically feasible attractive $422,416.10 profits. Finally, after dialoguing babassu nut breakers understanding their needs, feasibility developing contacted families through technology transfer oil, cake, biochar, from coconuts was studied, demonstrating income generation based on profitability achieved in this study.
